Dr. Sara Tonelli has a background in Computational Linguistics and leads the Digital Humanities research group at Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Italy. She has been involved in several projects to develop technologies aimed at automatically detecting online speech and co-designing technologies to fight cyber-harrassment together with potential victims and stakeholders. Her research interests are highly interdisciplinary, trying to apply and adapt advanced text analysis approaches to social sciences and historical investigation.
