Elisabetta Sirgiovanni is Assistant Professor tenure-track (Ricercatore tdB) at Sapienza University of Rome, she is a Fulbright Alumna. She researches on the history/philosophy of psychiatry and neuroscience, including ethical aspects. Her interests include psychiatric taxonomy, evolutionary models of mental illnesses, moral emotions and self-control, psychopathy, neuroenhancement, history of Ect. She got the National Scientific Qualification (ASN) for associate prof. of history of medicine and bioethics.
